Practical information
Public Transport
Planning the commuting:
To plan your commuting in Copenhagen, the Travel Planner is useful (in Danish, English and German, including metro, bus and train). See map of metro stations
Zones and tickets:
To go to and from the Airport you need three zones. You can buy tickets in the machines at the airport (just before you get to the metro platform – or the ticket office), the machines on metro and S-train stations. You can use international cards (Visa and MasterCard) in the ticket machines. It is not possible to pay with cards on the bus.
Read more about tickets and prices. We can recommend a 72-hour City Pass or pay with your smartphone with an app called “Mobilbilletter Hovedstaden”.
